Robin Leatherbarrow is Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Scholarship, Research and Knowledge Transfer) of Liverpool John Moores University and Professor of Chemical Biology at Imperial College London. He obtained his DPhil at Oxford University and held a Research Lectureship at Oxford and Royal Society Research Fellowship at Imperial College London before taking up a lectureship in the Department of Chemistry at Imperial. He is the elected Chair of the Protein and Peptide Science Group of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
